Just because this business is improving impressions and rank does not guarantee potential customers will click on their listing. Based on our experience and extensive historical data, we devised a strategy to satisfy both Google as well as human customers to make the listing appealing to new customers using the tools within Google Business Profile. As a result, their click-thru-rate (CTR) has increased in proportion to impressions. This is shown in the blue line in the above data graph from Google Search Console. We continue to work with this client in order to be proactive with new user trends, new guidelines from Google as well as various other marketing “best practices”. This business needed to improve its organic visibility and attract more potential clients through Google search. While their website was live and functional, they weren’t ranking for relevant search terms and had little to no organic traffic coming in.
They were essentially invisible to the very people searching for their services.
To turn this around, the business implemented a targeted SEO blog strategy. This began with comprehensive keyword research to identify high-value search terms their ideal customers were using. From there, they developed a strategic content calendar and began publishing SEO-optimized blog posts on a consistent schedule.
Each blog was written with a clear purpose (to educate, build authority, and rank well on Google).
The Result?
Over the next 90 days, Google Search Console data showed a rapid increase in impressions (see the graph above). This demonstrated a clear upward trend in search visibility thanks to the keyword-driven blog content.
